Proud Mummy.......

BooBoo has always been a very special child to me, from the surprise pregnancy to her ease of meeting new people, those of you who know her can attest she is no wallflower.  Yesterday was no exception......

I know you have read how proud I am of her at her achievements at school and proud report card moments.  Here she goes again excelling from her October report card from A's and B's with nearly a clean sweep on A's on her January report card, missing the mark on one by just a few %.

This child is AMAZING and I am not just saying this as her mother.......she survives 6 months growing without my knowledge to turn out healthy and smart!!!!!  of course she is amazing and I am SO PROUD OF YOU BOOBOO

Bambeano, Please no more snow.......

While driving to school with Bambeano today we had an interesting discussion......

After the 5 days of no school due to the snow I am more than ever looking forward to our spring break trip to Florida to meet up with my parents.  The great weather we had this week end was great although due to my tooth surgery I was unable to get out and enjoy it that much :(

Bambeano started a conversation that he couldn't wait till tomorrow so I asked him why.  He replied that he wants to see his shadow tomorrow so we can have 6 more days of snow..... ARE YOU CRAZY BAMBEANO.....

I asked him what he meant and did he mean Groundhog Day.  Yes that's it Mummy, he replied.  I giggled a bit and said Bambeano it is not your shadow but the groundhog's shadow and before I could finish he replied....Great does that mean it's 6 days till Christmas.....Now I really was laughing and thankfully the radio was muffling my laughter as I didn't want to upset my oh so innocent 5 year old.

Sorry Bambeano but the groundhog comes up and if he sees his shadow we will have 6 more weeks of winter hopefully not snow......

Boy the conversations we have in the car just get better
