Who would have thought.......

We have just finished the 2nd week of soccer for Bambeano and what a start.  After 2 goals in the 1st game Bambeano did not disappoint in the 2nd game.  After being in goal for the 1st quarter and conceding 3 goals.  Bambeano came out fighting and scored 2 goals in 2 minutes to bring the scoreline 3-2.

Shortly after half time Bambeano leveled the score with a hat trick and with 1 quarter to go the score was level 3-3.

Despite the fighting spirit from the kids we lost but we had fun watching and all the kids did great and I was so proud of my little Bambeano.

More Soccer....this time Bambeano's season opener...

We are nearly there......... full soccer mode in the Bowden in a week away.....

Yesterday saw the season opener for Bambeano and Papa's 1st game as head coach and we got off to a great start with a 4-1 win and Bambeano contributing with 2 goals!!!!!! WAY TO GO BAMBEANO you have got off to a great start.

If that was not good enough the weather was GORGEOUS so we spent the day at the park and the sunscreen came out in force.

New soccer season and new teams

You know how much the Bowdens love their soccer, why the whole family plays.  It has been sad not seeing the kiddos play soccer and shouting on the sidelines but that all changed a few weeks ago when Boo Boo started her new soccer season with a new club, that's right club, she is no longer at the recreational team she was with the last 5 or 6 years but has moved on to club level. 

She had a little hiccup to start after seeing how good the girls and boys were as she felt a little intimidated and unworthy of her spot on the team but she has excelled herself and settled in well.  So well in fact she is on TWO teams, Chelsea Girls and Newcastle Boys, trust me we had no say in the names.

So far this season she has played 3 games and she has 3 wins wrapped under her belt.  A 6-1 win for the Newcastle team in the 1st game (pictures below in white strip) late February followed by 2 games last Saturday (pictures below in blue strip) a 3-0 win for Chelsea Girls (including a shot on goal that was saved) followed by a 90 minute break before playing her 2nd game of the day, her 2nd total for the Newcastle boys with a 3-1 win.

Today mark's Mummy and Papa's 11th year anniversary.  We began our journey as a partnership and have grown together creating two beautiful children, Boo Boo and Bambeano.
