What a crazy life......

Wow were does the time go????? Kids out of school and I thought life would be less stressful and manic with no homework, early bedtimes, lunches to make and panic mornings but oh I am so wrong in fact life has got crazier....... How can that be????

Booboo and Bambeano are enjoying the summer and both are at the same school, Bambeano finishing his 4 year old year and BooBoo completing her summer camp with day trips and fun. however, last Friday we were all excited to take a trip to see Toy Story 3. We were supposed to go Thursday but Bambeano did not have a good day with his behavior so the trip was canceled and rescheduled to Friday.

I proceeded to Bambeano's classroom 1st so I could get a report on how he did and he had a great day, off to collect BooBoo from the gym.... oh no she was sitting on the floor crying with ice on her arm. She was in real pain so Toy Story 3 trip postponed and instead off to the urgent care. Happy to report it wasn't fractured or broken but she was required to wear a sling till her follow up appointment on Wednesday.

Bambeano really surprised me with his grown up attitude after having Toy Story 3 canceled. He responded that he didn't want to go as he wanted to make sure BooBoo was okay and would rather go when we could go as a family. Talk about melting a mummy's heart. I love that kid.

I can report that we did the trip to see Toy story 3 after a busy Saturday and really enjoyed it.

World Cup duty a family torn.......

So the world cup is in full force and the family is torn on cheering for which side. Of course Papa and Mummy there is no contest we are English through and through but Boo Boo and Bambeano are US born and bred.

I feel a whole sense of Déjà vu when it comes to Bambeano, remembering Mummy cheering on Everton while Nannie was cheering on Tottenham when I was about 9 and there an Everton supporter was born.

We have the house all decked out in all it English glory and Bambeano will gleefully cheer on England but then he turns competitive and against mummy and wants USA to win USA USA USA is all the chants that come from the delightful 4 year old.

Oh boy this house is going to get a whole lot interesting. ENGLAND!!!!!

So tonight was soccer tournament 1st round for BooBoo and Bambeano. Bambeano was up 1st and after turning down a penalty, really!!! we lost 1-0. Bambeano was devastated and crying that soccer was over. Bambeano mummy & daddy are so proud of you playing in your 1st 5/6 season and yet to turn 5.

BooBoo was delayed in starting as her game was delayed due to a penalty shoot out for the game prior to hers, oh the nerves.....

Finally they get to kick off and the score is ....................................1-0 BooBoo is through to the next round, semi finals tomorrow same time same place. Here we go again!!!!

Wish us luck. Pictures to follow

End of school is near........

BooBoo has 3 days left of school before the start of summer begins for her. Over the last few days she has brought home her work folders of all the work she has completed over the school year, writing, math problems and a strange folder called poems.
I opened the folder and came across some that just made me smile that I had to share. In her own words.......

BooBoo has really excelled this year not just in academics but also in her sports. She made the All Stars soccer team playing this Saturday in an exhibition game. She was voted by her peers as the best girl on her team. Not satisfied with that this past Saturday she scored a goal and set up the 3rd girl for another girl on her team. They won 3-0.
Way to go BooBoo !!!!!
