Fun in the sun at the pool

This year has been incredibly hot earlier than normal so what better way to cool off than the pool.  Papa has been busily cleaning the house on Saturday so we could spend some time as a family on Sunday before his 5 day trip to Atlanta and my start of single parenting Oh My!!!!!

We got down to the pool about 11.00 am with the intention of staying a few hours before Papa's departure but the kids were having too much fun and I was fully convinced that time at the pool = no agruments at the house = one less stressed mummy.

I took advantage of Papa entertaining Boo Boo and Bambeano while I soaked up some rays, listened to my iTunes and enjoyed the peace and relaxation......

Papa did a quick run to McDonald's for some hungry tummies of Boo Boo and Bambeano, yes the had devoured the healthy picnic of carrots, strawberries and a few chips, so I guess all that swimming does make for some hunger work and I did not anticipate we would be at the pool that long.

After saying good bye to Papa the kids went back into the pool for some more fun, this time diving sticks.  now the pool is a wonderful thing because not only is it a great place to cool off but their are other families that Boo Boo and Bambeano have no issues with making friends and playing.

Next it was time to push Mummy in the pool and do jumps together, this I do enjoy and had great fun with plenty of laughter.  After some jumps I decided to get my phone so I could send Papa the pictures of what he was missing.

End of a great season and a new nickname for Bambeano

Bambeano who we now affectionately call Lil Bombshell and what a Bombshell he was this season.

We had a great season, some wins, some loses but overall great fun.

Bambeano had an awesome season ending with 18 goals in 12 games including 4 hat tricks (3 goals in a game).

He has come a long way with his soccer skills especially after watching premiership with Papa and playing Fifa11 on the Wii.  A few weeks ago he saw a corner kick that was converted straight into a goal and he responded he wanted to do that.

Well a few games later (4) and several practices in game he DID IT.  Not only did he score from a corner kick but he did in style hitting the far post after curving it LIKE BECKHAM and passing through several players for a one touch goal.

I am SO proud of you Bambeano putting your mind to it and getting your corner kick goal WAY TO GO

Yeah for Grandma and Grandad........

This past week end we had the pleasure of having grandma and grandad visit.  (Papa's parents).  On Sunday we decided to take a day trip out and visit Patterson Farms to go Strawberry picking and feed the animals.  We haven't visited the farm during the spring/summer months only seem to go for the pumpkins.

It was a very hot and humid day when we got there but we started off with visiting the animals and playground

After some time feeding the animals and hanging at the playground we headed back over to the country store for the cow ride and strawberry picking.  Grandma, BooBoo, Bambeano and Papa all got in on the cow ride while Mummy and Grandad watched from the side lines.......Off they go

Once the cow ride was over it was on to the main event, strawberry picking.  Lots of strawberries for the picking with BooBoo and Bambeano each carrying their own punts.

What a fun day we had despite the heat we cooled down with ice cream now to make the strawberry lemonade, yum yum

Another great beach trip........

Spring break plans included a road trip to Florida with an exciting stop at downtown disney before meeting Nannie and Grandad at the beach.

Both Boo Boo and Bambeano wanted to go to our favorite beach and the trip did not disappoint.......
