It never rains but pours.................

So what an end to the week end. Mummy and Papa played soccer on Sunday and yes again Mummy got injured.

My foot got tangled in another players shoe lace. The other player carried on running which wrapped my left leg round my leg. My knee twisted right round, can you say AGONY!!!

Monday resulted in a visit to the Orthopedic Dr. Torn MCL on the inside of my knee. Now 4 weeks of crutches and a brace.

If that wasn't enough while I was at the Dr's I received a phone call from Bambeano's school that he had a temperature and was sick.

Oh my can the Bowdens get a break?

Soccer Saturday PART ONE

Well open season for soccer today. Papa started off with PeeWee at 9am and I was assigned as "assistant" handing out shirts, confirming emails and signing the parents up for snacks. Who in the world set the forecast called for milder weather this week end because I think they were dreaming.....at 9.30 am it was muggy and uncomfortable.

Onto the 1st game off we went for BooBoo's game, early in we have a penalty awarded for hand ball and Xander SCORES!!!!! We win 1-0.

Onto Bambeano's game and his little buddy, Katie scores her very 1st goal!!!!!!. Clean sweep for the Bowdens 1-0 in both games off to a great start to the season.

Now onto the 2nd half of the day Bambeano's birthday party!!!!

HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY BAMBEANO

It is my baby's 5th birthday today, where in the world has the time gone, my baby is now 5. So strange wrapping his presents last night as Papa found a picture from 2007 and there it was my baby.

Bambeano's 1st day of school

Wow how time flies.......here we are for Bambeano's 1st day of school; with a school uniform mind you. Yep, you got it a rarity for American schools but Bambeano has a school uniform. it was our choice to hold him back as his birthday so close to the cut off this allowed us the luxury to send him to a local private school, Back Creek Christian Academy.

Bambeano seemed really excited but I turned into the neurotic mum. Lunch was packed the night before which included a special card for Bambeano to read during lunch from Mummy and Papa. Back pack check and name tag check.

So on to the neurotic side of me. I gave Bambeano a shower (which he hates having in the mornings) and dressed him in his underwear and robe for breakfast, if you think I was putting his uniform on before breakfast you obviously do not Bambeano and food (without a doubt some will get on his shirt or pants)

Success a freshly dressed nearly 5 year old (8 days to go till his birthday) and we are ready for this exciting day.
